Copywriter
As a Mojo copywriter, you will work alongside the creative director as an integral part of the creative team. Your work will involve receiving client briefs and then to conceiving and developing effective advertising campaigns. Your primary role will be to provide the verbal or written ‘copy’ as well as proof reading; this may include creating slogans, catchphrases, messages, and straplines for printed adverts, leaflets, posters, or brochures. You will also be involved in the creation of content (text) for web advertising, social media as well as the development of scripts and story lines for radio jingles, short films and television advertisements.

Responsibilities
Typical work activities may include but are not limited to:
- Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the art director
- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar;
- Contributes new ideas, techniques and feedback to Creative Directors
- Creating slogans, catchphrases, messages and straplines for printed adverts and leaflets
- Updating digital and social media
- Casting actors for TV and radio work and listening to voice tapes
- Liaising with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers
- Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends
- Monitoring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Qualifications
- Degree
- Diploma Marketing Communications
- Diploma Journalism and Communication studies
Work experience
- 2 to 5 years traceable experience in advertising or marketing in similar position
- Proven track of blog or website and social networking sites
- Portfolio of works- proof of creative writing skills and business sense
