REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)

(SUPPLY OF GYPSUM)

The Dangote Group is one of Africa’s leading conglomerates producing diversified products. Dangote Cement, a subsidiary of the Dangote Group, is the leading producer of cement in Zambia with a modern advanced integrated cement plant in Ndola, on the Copperbelt province.

Dangote Cement Zambia limited invites potential suppliers to submit a quotation for the supply of gypsum, requirements are stipulated below:

EVALUATION

Please note that the evaluation criteria will be in three parts

1. Preliminary Evaluation

Vendors will be required to submit the following requirements;

1. Letter of introduction to address to the head of procurement to; Dangote Cement Zambia Limited, Senior Chief Chiwala Area, Masaiti, P.O Box71082 Ndola – Zambia.
2. Company Profile and contact details
3. Registration Certificate with PACRA
4. Vendor Address and phone number
5. Bank reference letter and Bank Details: A/C Number, Name, Branch code &Sort code
6. Valid tax clearance certificate
7. Evidence of previous related jobs.

2. Commercial Evaluation

Please note that the price analysis will be used to consider only the lowest Bidder/Vendor who meet our requirements during the commercial evaluation.

3. Technical Evaluation

All vendors who meet the above requirements are required to submit the samples of Gypsum to Dangote Laboratory for our own testing and investigations.

Note: Please note that there is corona virus pandemic and therefore, only one person is supposed to submit the samples of gypsum for testing to Dangote Laboratory and entry in the plant will not be allowed but only to those who are carefully screened for Covid 19 and are declared fit by our health personnel. All vendors must put on a face mask and be in full PPE when bringing the samples.

METHOD OF SUBMISSION

The submission of this RFQ is only electronic to the above emails, visiting the plant is not allowed but only to those bringing the samples for testing, clarifications and other queries should be directed to the head of procurement Mr. Sunday on the above phone number. Dangote reserves the right to contact interested potential suppliers for clarity on any of the proposals/quotations submitted. The bidder will be disqualified should the bidder make any attempt, either directly or indirectly, to canvass Dangote, or any of its employees in respect of the quotation between the date of the quotation and the date of award.

LITIGATION STATUS

The vendors must not have any case or injunction from the courts of law in Zambia.

LATE SUBMISSION OF QUOTATION

Late submissions of quotations will not be accepted.
