Zambia Centre for Communication Programmes (ZCCP) is a not-for-profit, locally based multi-media communications organization, which uses the power of the mass media (radio, TV, print and electronic media) and social mobilisation to reach the Zambian population and to affect social and behaviour change. The organization uses a rigorous formative research process to generate appropriate edutainment content relevant to health and development priorities in Zambia.
Established in 2002, the core activities of ZCCP since then have taken place under the auspices of a Regional Health Communication Programme involving 9 country partners in southern Africa, which is co-coordinated by the Soul City Institute. To ensure that the developed materials and interventions are contextualized to local situations, ZCCP has developed Kwatu as a well-known health and development communication brand, which has been used to carry out all of ZCCP’s products. Overtime ZCCP has integrated other socio-health issues such as HIV/AIDS and Gender-based violence and campaign to end child marriages in Zambia
ZCCP will be implementing the DREAMS project in Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi and will continue to implement Community HIV Prevention in Serenje and Mksushi districts funded by Pact through PEPFAR and USAID Funding in addition to the Zambia Community HIV Prevention Project (ZCHPP) beginning October 2017. DREAMS is an ambitious partnership to reduce HIV infections among adolescent girls and young women in ten Sub-Saharan African countries. The goal of DREAMS is to help girls develop into Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-Free, Mentored and Safe women.
ZCCP is therefore looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill up the following vacancies in Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi districts.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct periodic program reviews in line with ZCCP and donor established policies and procedures;
- Analyze and evaluate data to ensure achievement of expected results and recommend corrective actions;
- Provide technical assistance to program staff, administration staff and other stakeholders on planning and evaluation
- Implement ZCCP guidelines on project/program M&E for different project components at regional level
- Review and monitor performance indicators and reports produced by different program units and program partners,
- Monitor and report on the results and progress made with regard to the program/project implementation;
- Support program staff in the preparation of Annual Work Plans in line with the harmonized format;
- Set up operational arrangements for collecting, analyzing and reporting project data and for investing in capacity building at the regional level.
- Assist program staff in the introduction of new and innovative approaches and methods in project M&E;
- Maintain and update a database of development indicators, their values and sources of data and prepare the program status reports.
Job Requirements
- Degree in social sciences preferred but higher diploma can also apply. A bias towards Gender Studies, public health, public policy or other related fields is an added advantage.
- One to Three (3) years of relevant experience in M&E work
