Software Developer Interns

Responsibilties

  • Undergraduate students in or beyond their third year of study
  • Understanding of computer hardware and software systems, including basic PC architecture, operating systems, relational databases and computer networking protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP etc.
  • Experience with a wide range of open source systems and tools especially Linux, Postgresql database, BASH, Vi(m), Atom, Eclipse etc
  • Back-end and front-end web development capability. Proficiency in Python, Java and SQL for back-end development a must. Additionally, must be comfortable with HTML, CSS, Javascript and the mechanism behind template engines like thymeleaf, JSP, q-web etc
  • Impeccable work ethic, team player and business minded
  • Self-starter with strong problem solving skills

Benefits

K1,000 – K1,500 stipend per month; actual amount to depend on assessed competency
