Those purchases are processed and consolidated in our various offices around the world and then exported to the head office in Lusaka, Zambia. In addition the company builds and operates e-commerce platforms for businesses within Zambia.

Job Description
Dot Com Zambia is looking for a Digital Marketing Associate who is responsible for managing the set up of advanced campaigns on Facebook and Google Adwords. We have pictures, video, fare charts etc, to work with and be creative. The Digital Marketing associate will work within the sales, marketing, and customer service function as well as IT for the achievement of marketing campaign targets, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Dot Com Zambia is looking for a digital marketer with the following responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns directing traffic to our sites i.e., www.busticketszambia.com, www.dczambia.com and , importzambia.com.
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
- Candidate should be able to use Illustrator and Photoshop to produce graphics of high quality and output to both web and print.
- Understands how to communicate a marketing message effectively and concisely using text and graphics.
- Knows how to formulate a short or long text to get the message across to an audience with maximum impact.
- Liaise with advertising companies to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters and other materials (print and electronic).
- Manage and oversee communications on social media platforms
- Other duties as required and determined by management such as customer service, assisting preparing reports and conducting business analysis.
Position requirements
- Diploma in IT Related field, marketing experience will be an added advantage.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Proven experience in E-marketing (PPC adverts) and Desktop Publishing
- Creativity with the ability to create superior marketing material
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Superior oral and written communication skills, with the ability to capture detailed process and communicate in an accessible manner to a range of audiences
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Dynamic, flexible and multi-skilled individual who can handle the multiple roles required of an employee working for an SME
