Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company Limited is a Commercial Water Utility Company providing quality Water and Sanitation Services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya, and Masaiti districts. In its quest to improve service delivery, the Company seeks to employ suitably, highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions in the Company;

DIRECTOR – HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATIONS SERVICES

Job Purpose

The jobholder will provide expert professional advice and support to the office of the Managing Director and the Board on all aspects of people management.

Principal Accountabilities

  • The tasks and responsibilities of the Director of Resource and Administration Services will include:
  • Providing strategic advice in all matters of human resource management, industrial/employee relations, performance management, compensation and reward system, and institutional development.
  • Managing disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Formulating human resources Polices, Strategic and Action Plans that are in line with the Vision/Mission and Objectives of the Company.
  • Preparation and implementation of the departmental annual budget.
  • Evaluating and assessing regularly the Company’s human resources requirements through consultations with Heads of Division/Department.
  • Providing staff training and development services to ensure the KWSC staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure adequate and sound security is provided to all Company installations, equipment, and staff at all times.

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration or equivalent.

Person Specification

  • Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
  • Influencing, persuading, coaching, and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must a fully paid up of ZIHRM
  • Must have a minimum of five years of practical experience in human resource management.
