The company seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic professional for the position of Human Resource Officer, based in Solwezi and reporting to the Human Resource Manager.

Job Purpose

To attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive work environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Employee induction and onboarding
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Expat Management
  • Facilitate workplace productivity and welfare programs
  • Monitor and update records of staff professional development
  • Responsible for employee database update
  • Development and management of HR policies and procedures to promote work efficiency

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration from a recognized Institution
  • Bachelor of Arts degree is most preferred
  • Should be registered with Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in relevant HR function

Experience and Personal Qualities

  • Self-motivated
  • High accuracy of work, reliable and trustworthy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability in working with very confidential issues
  • Knowledge of Zambian Legislation in terms of HR management
  • Proven skills of working in multicultural setup
  • Computer literate
