Educore Services comprising of a group of schools and Educore Academy for teacher training based in Sol-wezi, Northwestern Zambia is seeking a well-qualified and experienced ICT Network Administrator. ICT Network Administrator will provide continuous ICT services to the whole organisation (Central Administration, School administrators, all pupils, students and teachers) to ensure a contemporary service for users with the least possible interruptions through the implementation of regular network, system and hardware maintenance (including required system upgrades). Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, ideally Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Microsoft Certification MSCA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) or MSCE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or relevant experience
• A+ or Network + Certification

Commencement date: 1 November 2017

Key Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills and attributes:

• Qualified and certified Network Engineer
• Proven ICT skills with Windows Server (up to latest version), Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Exchange Server. VMware, Mac OS X and OS X Server
• Understanding of MS Server licensing and legal requirements
• Ability to advise and develop systems architecture in a low internet environment
• Ability to develop network /server security & physical security
• Ability to analyse WLAN environment and deploy WAPs to maximum effect.
• Very good knowledge of MS SharePoint with administration functionality
• Very good knowledge of all the products within the Microsoft Office Professional Package
• Knowledge of Office 365 and deployment of cloud-based services
• Knowledge of fiber installations and capabilities
• Knowledge of setup and management of database systems (e.g. reporting systems)
• Knowledge/Experience of/with Academic MIS systems
