Enumerator Job: Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA)
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a nonprofit organization that creates and evaluates solutions to social and development problems, and works to scale up successful ideas through implementation and dissemination to policymakers, practitioners, investors, and donors.
IPA is looking for vibrant FEMALE qualified enumerators to assist in a child-health related end-line survey which will run from end of August to early October. The study will be carried out in the 5 Health Facility catchment areas of rural Choma.
Job Title: Enumerator
Responsibilities/role to include:
- Meet daily with Team Leaders to review and submit work and receive additional instructions
- Visit the 5 Health Facility Catchment area and collect information from mothers with children under the age of 5.
- Enumerate a survey and measure children’s height and weights to a selected sample of mothers living in the catchment area of the 5 health facilities.
- Ensure consistent high data quality
Essential requirements:
- Diploma or degree holder
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tonga.
- Must be below 35 years of age.
- Must be based or have own accommodation arrangements in Choma.
Desirable:
- Experience in survey work
- Experience in working on a rural research project
- Work experience in a reputable research/international organization
- Willing to travel and lodge in the rural areas of Choma
