Executive Coordinator: TAG Association


The Executive Coordinator is responsible for driving the success of TAG’s mission by leading and delivering on the current strategic objectives and setting those for the future. S/he will:

  • Build on and develop the reputation of TAG and lead the Association to increase its influence, broaden financial resources, multiply its networks, and enhance its impact.

The top priorities for the Executive Coordinator are:

  • Pursue the TAG’s vision, mission, and goals.
  • Expand and diversify funding partnerships and revenue streams.
  • Set up the fully functional office and operations of the TAG.
  • Develop and strengthen value-add relationships with members, key stakeholders, and other strategic funders.
  • Ensure TAG’s integrity, including excellent planning and execution of high-impact activities that will contribute to the inclusivity and growth of insurance services in Zambia.
  • Lead fundraising for TAG including identifying potential donors, supporting or leading program design and proposal process, and ensuring productive donor relationships.
  • Represent TAG at various levels with key stakeholders, members, and funders.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of the Association’s strategy which achieves its vision, mission, and goals, as well as timely monitor the progress against set targets.
  • Development and execution of annual work plans of the Association as approved by the Board of Directors and Annual General Meeting.
  • Facilitate the work of the Board and its committees by developing resource materials, providing appropriate information, preparing reports and assisting committee chairpersons as necessary.
  • Set in place operational manuals, policies, and tools for monitoring the performance of TAG.
  • Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with national regulations.
  • Produce monthly, annual and special narrative and financial reports for presentation to the board and the general membership establish and maintain an effective system of communication among the TAG membership, the stakeholders and other cooperating partners, government so as to build and maintain a positive image of the Association.
  • Publicize the activities of the Association, its programs, and goals by fostering and maintaining sound working relationships with various committees of the Association, partners and other associations.
  • Publish emerging insights through reports, focus notes and papers on inclusive insurance.
  • Provide for the appropriate control and accountability of all funds, physical assets, and other property.
  • Actively initiate and engage in the advocacy work of the TAG.
