COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Professional affiliation to the Engineering Board of Zambia
  • Knowledge of Microsoft package, i.e. Excel and Word
  • Accurate, pro-active, deadline-driven, problem-solving and service-oriented working style
  • Extraordinary feeling for quality and costs (high cost awareness)
  • Excellent observation skills; self-motivated to suggest improvements to the Bank’s buildings and property and solve maintenance issues; strengths in making follow-ups (e.g. on maintenance work) and organizing
  • Strong communication, negotiation and people’s skills
