Zambia Centre for Communications Programme (ZCCP) is a not-for-profit, locally based multi-media communications organization, which uses the power of the mass media (radio, TV and print) and social mobilization to reach the Zambian population and to affect social and behaviour change.
ZCCP uses a rigorous formative research process to generate appropriate edutainment content relevant to health and development priorities in Zambia. At the community level, we work with girls, boys, women, men, persons with disabilities, key and priority populations. At the policy level, we work with the National Assembly of Zambia, House of Chiefs and other Traditional Leaders, Religious Leaders and various government ministries and the National AIDS Council. ZCCP is looking to recruit for the following positions:

Reporting lines: Deputy Chief of Party
The Faith Communities Initiative is a one-year initiative aimed at (i) Engaging Faith Communities to find men and children living with HIV, and (ii) supporting access to justice for children as well as broader sexual violence prevention. The FCI Coordinator, under the guidance of the Deputy Chief of Party, will provide overall supervision for all faith community initiatives programming.
Duties and Responsibilities
(1) Responsible for overall managing and leading the initiative implementation in Chipata, Kabwe, Kapiri and coordinating with other USG partners implementing the initiative in other DREAMS districts. (2) Ensure activities are implemented according to plans and budgets, donor requirements and that activities are executed in line with acceptable quality standards in ways that are responsive to communities’ needs. (3) Participate in district level coordination forums, meetings, networks, and ensure FCI operations are aligned and coordinated with similar efforts of the USG partners together with ZINGO who are leading with engaging Faith Mother Bodies in the dissemination of messages of hope. (4) Regularly monitor potential risks, and implementation challenges and, together with all staffs and consortium members work and other partners towards proactively seeking solutions; (5) In collaboration of other relevant officers/experts responsible for compiling monthly and quarterly reports and action plans of the initiative as per donor formats. (6) Monitoring initiative progress and performance in coordination with ZINGO. (7) Ensure and monitor the allocation of resources in the most efficient and cost-effective way while aiming for the highest quality of implementation.
Qualifications and Core Competencies Required
(1) Degree in Social Sciences or related field. Public Health and Theological qualifications will be an added advantage. (2) Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role with a USAID funded the project and working with Faith Communities. (3) Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management. (4) Strong teamwork skills. (5) Excellent computer skills. (6) Excellent interpersonal skills – builds good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain effective collaboration with all staff. (7) Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload.
