Job Description

Position: Finance and Administration Officer

Reporting To: Managing Director

Supervised By: Finance Manager

Contract Type: Fixed-Term

Location: Lusaka, Industrial Area

Background

Tuyen Sourcing Solutions Ltd is a young and dynamic Zambian Company established in 2017 to understand, meet and provide customer-focused solutions driven by new ideas; reliably, cost-effectively, and responsibly. We provide customer service to farmers, processors, producers, corporate businesses, and the government.

Tuyen Sourcing Solutions currently has four divisions, namely: Commodities sourcing, transport, general supplies, and construction – civil engineering.

Tuyen Sourcing Solutions is inviting applications from suitably qualified members of the public to apply for the position of Finance and Administration Officer. He/ She will responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the firm.

Specifically, the Job duties include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare payment vouchers with adequate support documentation
Ensure the payment process is complete
Prepare and capture payment vouchers into pastel and bantoo accounting package
Enter daily payments into the EFT banking system
Management of petty cash
Ability to develop annual operations and program budgets
Filing of all documents
Prepare bank reconciliations on time
Prepare reconciliation schedules for all balance sheet accounts
Manage the fuel account and prepare monthly reconciliations
Maintain Tuyen Sourcing Solution’s inventory and fixed assets in the register and conduct quarterly verifications.
Oversee logistical staff activities, expenditures, and scheduling
Coordinate the procurement processes
Prepare monthly staff payroll
Timely submission of NAPSA and PAYE returns

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or any other related field
Experience with pastel and bantoo accounting software a must
Should have at least 3-year prior experience in a similar position
Must be a self-starter
Ability to work with minimum supervision
