Finance and Administration Officer Job: Kasempa Community Radio


FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

FINANCE

  • Head the Finance department
  • To maintain the books of accounts and the Asset register
  • Ensure that financial procedures are strictly followed when raising payments.
  • Update the Cash Book and operate the bank reconciliation Statements
  • Custodian of all Accountable documents
  • Must be able to generate cash flow statements
  • Prepare Financial Reports Weekly, Monthly for Management decisions and Quarterly reports for Board Meetings.
  • Operate the Payroll system effectively
  • Ensure that statutory obligatory payments are made on time.
  • Be able to Market the Radio and mobilize resources for the sustainability of the radio station

ADMINISTRATION

  • Facilitate the procurement of office equipment, Stationery, and other materials
  • File all administrative documents in an orderly and systematic manner
  • Attending to board and staff meeting requirements and staff issues
  • Attend to Human Resources related issues.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be requested by the Station Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade Twelve Certificate
  • Must be a holder of any of the following qualifications, ZICA Accountancy, Diploma in Accountancy (DA) or Equivalent.
  • At least two years’ experience
  • Must be registered with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and Computer literate
  • Ability to multi-task and work under minimum supervision
