Finance Manager Job in Zambia

Our client’s company’s primary product range consists of mild (carbon) steel in all its different forms. To support their function is Zambia, they seek to recruit for Finance Manager.
Responsibilities;
- In charge of managing the finance team across Zambia
- Ensuring that all statutory audits are completed timely and accurately
- Identifying areas of cost cutting and improvement of operations
- Ensuring that all financial and management controls of the branch are met at all time
- Preparation and review of management accounts for the board
- Review and improvement of internal controls and financial controls
- Review and approval of all payments to suppliers ensuring all key documents are available
- Review of daily bank reconciliations statements
- In charge of and managing the finance team
- Performed monthly variance analysis of budgets and management accounts provoking feedback to management on key increases
- Monitored cash flow forecasts and payment plans for our suppliers
- Providing support to management on areas of financial matters
To be considered you must have
- ACCA/CIMA
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role
