Finance Manager Job in Zambia: Recruitment Matters Zambia
To effectively & efficiently manage Finance & Accounting function including legal; for the company including people within the function, to get the desired job done.
Key responsibilities:
a. Plan and effectively control working capital
b. Plan & Control/reduce fixed and variable costs
c. Prepare & optimize cash flow, forex, banking, tax compliances & legal matters
d. Prepare weekly/ monthly/ Quarterly and yearly financial reports including Board paper
e. Prepare budgets & forecasts and variance analysis
f. Manage Fixed assets including the Insurance
g. Coordinate with above contacts for effective & efficient work flow & internal control, including People & administration
Key result areas
a. Review & positively contribute towards Debtors and Creditors control with effective reconciliation of Debtors and Creditors balances
b. Review inventories with book & physical and control with variance/ trend analysis
c. Budget and control all fixed and variable costs
d. Manage banking facilities, prepare and manage cash flows- daily/ weekly/ monthly
e. Optimize Forex by reviewing currency movements
f. Proactively manage legal & taxation matters
g. Timely and accurately prepare and analyze all Financial reports
h. Manage all Board papers / meeting, arrange Audit, annual reports & AGM
i. Prepare Budgets and forecast with required accuracy and within the timeline
j. Effectively carry out variance analysis and business intelligence
k. Effectively control and manage Fixed Asset with required accuracy & timeliness.
l. Assess and obtain optimum insurance cover for all risks and manage claims.
m. Effectively Coordinate with all external contacts
n. Effectively coordinate with internal contacts including conflict resolution
Qualifications required:
- Chartered Accountant degree from recognized university with managerial qualification/experience
- Chartered Accountant & Cost Accountant degree from recognized universities with managerial qualification/experience
Experience required:
- 12-15 years
