Finance Manager – Revenue, Credit Control and Compliance: Liquid Telecom Zambia
Summary of the job: To manage billing, debtor’s collection and finance compliance processes, and produce accurate and timely, revenue, collections, statutory and other financial reports in line with, regulatory and IFRS requirements. To ensure that revenue recognition complies with accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversees timely billing and completeness of billing processes, service change and credit notes per the approved limits, manage billing quarries and revenue leakages.
- Approve credit notes per the approved limits
- Engage strategic clients on their billing queries and requirements
- Reviews receivables aged analysis for completeness and accuracy
- Collection of receivables from customers
- Manage collections of dues, customer payment terms, disconnections and debt collection
- Reviews and submits weekly reports on debtors’ performances
- Prepares reports, schedules and files for review by and as requested by auditors
- Reviews and approves reconciliations for all statutory and tax related ledger accounts
- Reviews and approves quarterly regulatory reports and ensures that the same are lodged on time.
- Checks and ensures that all revenue related, and tax entries are posted into Pastel as per the Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual for operational reporting purposes
- Manage the productivity and development of staff in the team
Candidate Requirements
- Operational and Strategic Financial Experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- 5 years post qualification experience.
- Experience in Credit, Debt Collections, Billing and Revenue Assurance
- Audit experience (Internal & External)
- Experience in telecommunications or service sector is an added advantage
- ACCA/CIMA/ZICA Qualification
