An international NGO active in humanitarian aid and development cooperation, currently implementing development projects in mother and child healthcare in Western Province, and livelihoods project in Western and North-Western Province, is looking for a

Job Title: FINANCE OFFICER

Responsibilities:

Financial/accounting activities regarding the mission financing and finance for all Zambians projects
Collection of financial documentation from field offices, control of finances from field offices, monitoring of advances
Cashhooks and Bankbook consolidation and record keeping
Consolidation of financial documentation for financial reporting purposes
Present in the Procurement evaluation committee
Management of payrolls and legal deductions, taxations and contributions
Maintenance and archiving of financial documentation
Assets utilization management and record keeping, keeping of inventory

Requirements:

Tertiary education: Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, ACCA II, ZICA Licentiate, CIMA Intermediate, or Equivalent
Proven experience of at least 3 years in project finance and accounting, financial reporting
Experience with project cycle management is an advantage
Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an advantage
Fluent in English – written and spoken
Excellent computer skills – MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet
Diligent, accurate, attentive to detail and organized
Excellent time management, commitment, team worker, reliable and hardworking, able to work under pressure
