Finance and Private Sector Development Advisor Vacancy in PROFIT


PROFIT+ is a USAID funded project. Its goal is to  increase food security and decrease hunger in rural and pen-urban areas of Zambia through improved small holder productivity in selected value chains, expanded markets and trade, and increased private sector investment in agriculture-related activities. The project is primarily focusing its activities in Chipata, Katete,Lundazi, and Petauke districts in the Eastern Province, as well as in Peri-urban Lusaka and is seeking to recruit the position of;

Position: Finance and Private Sector Development Advisor

 Responsibilities
• Financial analysis and production of business plans for project partners and beneficiaries
• Follow up with financial institutions to ensure timely delivery of Loans and capital
• Participation and guidance in structuring potential equity funding options for selected group of beneficiaries
• Constant interaction with marketing and productivity teams to ensure delivery of standardized approaches
• Structuring of financial arrangements with private sector partners to enhance delivery of services in rural communities
• Promote innovations such as vouchers system, mobile banking etc. to enhance project implementation
Qualifications:
• University Degree in Agriculture, Business or Finance, with specific Agricultural finance background
• 5 years of relevant experience in a similar rote
• Experience working with an international organization preferably with a USAID funded project and knowledge of USAID rules and regulations
• Profiency in QuickBooks, SharePoint, Microsoft word and Excel and power point software
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Pleasant personality with good team and teamwork and interpersonal skills with ability to take iniative and work in terms
