The holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.

  • Assemble, install and test-run the installed or repaired equipment to ensure it is in sound operating condition before surrendering it to the users
  • Carry out a diagnosis of the defective item in order to determine the nature, extent, and cause of the fault.
  • Dismantle, modify, rehabilitate, recondition or replace the defective component so as to restore the equipment back to its original status.
  • Observe safety regulations during the operations to avoid accidents
  • Performa any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
  • Craft Certificate in Electrical

Experience

  • Three years’ experience
