Supervisor – Mechanical Milling
The holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
- 3 x 5.8 MW 20′ Ball Mills – Outotec
- 1 x 12 MW 32′ Sag Mill – Outotec
- 1 x 3.5 MW Sag Mill – FLS Fuller Vecor
- 1 x 3.5 MW Ball Mill – Morganshammer
- 1 x 560kw Regrind Mill – Marcy.
- Associated Krebs Cyclone Feed Pumps, 24 x 20″, 18 x 16″, Piping, Cyclones Etc
- Ensuring shutdowns are planned and executed in a professional manner
- KPI 97% plant availability
- Identifying and implementing Improvements in the Process Plant
- Mentor and Develop Zambian Nationals, encouraging initiative and effectiveness.
- Minimize rework.
- Assist develop Continuous Improvement and Condition Monitoring effectiveness.
- Drive availability improvement and attention to detail.
- Duties as defined by Management.
Qualifications
- Other Mechanical Trade or equivalent as a minimum.
- A member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Mining Fixed Plant Maintenance with at least 5 years leading a team of Mechanical Fitters, Boilermaker Artisans,
- 5 Years Work Experience with a large OEM. Metso, Outotec or FLS.
- Must have previous Mill installation experience.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Outotec Mills, Cedar Rapids Cone Crushers, Gold Gravity Concentrators. Sump Pumps, Warman Slurry Pumps and associated equipment.
- Must have previous Shutdown Planning and Supervision
- Literacy in M/S Outlook, Excel, Word.
