Position: General Manager
The Role
Flyafrica is looking for a General Manager in Zimbabwe who is fully responsible for the operations and commercial functions and the achievement flyafrica’s medium term objectives; specifically the role requires the incumbent:
- To take overal accountability for safe, secure, efficient and profitable airline operation.
- To ensure compliance with the requirements and standards prescribed by the relevant legislation .
- To ensure that all activities undertaken by the airline are. commercially viable, utilizing the company assets at minimum cost, to generate the maximum potential revenue and continuous improvement throughout the airline to offer the best value in aviation.
Requirements
The Person
The successful candidate will have a formal business qualification and at least five to seven in a senior leadership role In Commercial Aviation. Exceptional analytical communication and presentation skills are required to support die business planning, leading and control process.
A tourism background and personal network in Africa will be highly advantageous. The successful candidate should have vast experience in regional business and working in multicultural environments.
