Forensic Analyst Job: Zambia Revenue Authority

Job Title: FORENSIC ANALYST – ZRA05 (01)
Reporting directly to the Senior Inspector – Forensic Laboratory, the job holder will be responsible for managing and supervising the analysis and dissemination of digital intelligence and
evidence to facilitate investigation and prosecution of offences as well as support the overall ZRA compliance strategy.
MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plans for forensic examination and analysis
- Identifies digital devices with potential digital evidence
- Acquires digital images of identified digital devices
- Examines and analyses digital images
- Presents findings in standardised report formats
- Preserves and maintains the chain of evidence
- Secures and safeguards digital evidence
- Supervises subordinates
- Supports the prosecution of the alleged offenders
- Gathers Intelligence and case development
- Prepares digital forensic reports.
- Prepares forensic files in line with the Forensic Laboratory Unit’s procedure manual.
- Provides expert opinion on findings ofthe forensic examination and analysis.
- Prepares monthly performance reports.
- Ensures that assets are used for official purposes and in compliance with ZRA
standing orders - Advises and supports less experienced colleagues
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade twelve (12) School Certificate/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Equivalent
- University Degree with a bias in Computer Science, BSC Information and
- Communication Technologies or other relevant qualifications
- Four year’ relevant post qualifying work experience.
