Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Kitwe

Role:

  • Continuously works for organizational process improvement, providing input to Fortune Foods management to refine processes and cater to new and emerging market opportunities
  • Enters, updates and maintains daily sales activities and client/customer information into Sales database
  • Manages and updates interaction of Salesforce and Customer relationship management
  • Plans an effective sales targeting approach to the assigned sales territory
  • Prospects and cold-calls on businesses and organizations
  • Regularly follows up on inbound leads and sales inquiries
  • Responds to customer/client inquiries, suggestions, complaints and other details, by phone and email
  • Suggests and implements a closing business strategy relative to sales

Requirements:

Education:

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing from recognized institution
  • Grade 12 full certificate
  • Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of related sales and marketing experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong customer relationship management (CRM) history and good level of numeracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly growing business
  • Customer focused approach and ability to learn and adapt to needs and changes quickly
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • The capability to flourish in a competitive environment
  • The skills to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High degree of self-motivation and ambition
