Job Summary

The Marketing Manager performs marketing responsibilities for the assigned region and maximizes marketing efforts in concert with Corporate Marketing. Through training, this individual will acquire expertise on Franklin Covey offerings including tools, work sessions and training components for our solutions.

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities are focused in four major areas – Database Management, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Program Implementation and Sales Support.

Database Management

  • Expand the leads in our database to >200,000. Leads must include name, company, phone and email address
  • Create a consistent process for utilizing Salesforce.com software to implement marking campaigns, track response and link new business to activities, leading to an ROI calculation.

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop the overall marketing strategy for the region including events, webcasts, email, etc.
  • Create and maintain a regional calendar of marketing activities

Marketing Implementation

  • Create effective email marketing pieces that drive response
  • Send and track email marketing
  • Track participants attending events, confirm attendance and provide logistics
  • Analyze results of the marketing activities in order to develop best practices in customer awareness and response
  • Calculate the ROI for all marketing Events

Sales Support

  • Assist Client Partners with sales presentations and maintain a repository of all presentation materials
  • Assist Client Partners with responses to RFPs and RFIs and maintain a repository of all RFP/RFI’s
  • Create a repository of solution recommendations for Client Partners to access when proposing business to a client
  • Create custom materials for client deliverables based on the input of Client Partners and Delivery Consultants

Requirements

This position requires a BA/BS in Marketing or related field plus a minimum of 4+ years of corporate or agency marketing experience. Proficiency in MS Office applications and Desktop Publishing is essential and experience with Adobe InDesign is preferred. A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to success in this role. Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential; must be able to create and deliver compelling, polished sales presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies.
