INFORMATION SERVICES/TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Principal Information Services Officer, or his designate, the Information Services
Assistant will have cross-cutting responsibilities between the Business Systems Development and
Infrastructure & Service Delivery functions within the Information Services/Technology Unit.
The position holder will mainly be involved in the development, maintenance and support of the
Bank’s SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP) system. However, duties would also involve
ICT infrastructure support and maintenance including local and wide-area networks, and telephony,
as well as virtual server & storage systems. Other responsibilities would include an end-user
support/help-desk role.

Job Specifications:

A Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or

  • Management Information Systems;
  •  Hands-on/good working knowledge of SAP ERP in the following areas is mandatory:
  • ABAP/SAP language programming
  • Workflow Configuration and Maintenance
  • ICT Infrastructure skills in the following areas is also a requirement:
  • Networking and Communications;
  • Server Virtualization and Storage Systems;
  • Windows Server Environment including Active Directory management and MS
    Exchange.
  •  A minimum of five years in total of job-related experience with demonstrable track record;

Key competencies include: technical aptitude; troubleshooting ability/methodical and
a disciplined approach to problem-solving; independence to work under minimal supervision;
strong skills in business analysis is an advantage; ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
