1. Funeral Insurance Clerk

Purpose of the job

To provide effective and efficient Funeral Insurance services to the Funeral Services Group.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all records and package procedures are followed on daily transactions
  • Receive customers, receipt, reconcile and prepare for banking to be done
  • Organize all the information that is received and ensure that it is properly stored and accurate
  • Acquire new business by reaching out to potential clients
  • Liaise with the relevant authority in terms of all the transport requisitions
  • Ensure that yellow forms and contracts are delivered promptly and entered into the system correctly and on time
    Ensure that banking on daily basis has been done
  • Communicate effectively with reporting line managers
  • Prepare Weekly data capturing reports, which clearly indicate captured contacts

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Diploma in Insurance or Chartered Institute of Insurance

Required Competencies

  • Effective communication at all levels
  • Ability to facilitate customer needs
  • Good Communication skills
  • Pro-active and Innovative
  • Computer knowledge
