The company seeks to engage a highly motivated and ambitious PHARMACY TECHNOLOGIST on Permanent basis reporting to Gemcanton’s Clinic Medical Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management and disbursement of Drugs as prescribed by clinicians
  • Price and file completed prescriptions.
  • Manage supplies for chronic drugs and giving notice to patients when they are supposed to come for refill
  • Help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs and allied substances as per ideal storage protocol.
  • Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of drugs taken by individual patients.
  • Input data in the system.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages.
  • Administer ART

The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Polite, patient and able to communicate well
  • Team player
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience
