Geotechnician Job: Part of the Mac Holdings Group

Our client is looking for a Geotechnician to work in their exploration site.   This role will assist in the logistics, mark up and basic data collection of drill core (RQD, magnetic susceptibility).  Knowledge of drilling programs and processes is essential, as well as an understanding of QA/QC best practices with regards to drill core handling.   This role will assist in locating and defining tracks and drill pads, be proficient in the use of GPS for location purposes and satellite phone use for communications.  The ideal candidate must have the ability to work safely in remote areas and must have a full driver’s license.
