The Technical Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) is a body corporate established under the Technical Education and Entrepreneurship Training (TEVETA) Act No. 13 of 1998 and the TEVET (Amendment) Act No. 11 of 2005.

TEVETA was established to regulate, monitor and coordinate Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training in consultation with employers, workers other stakeholders.

TEVETA wishes to recruit qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following vacant positions.


1.1 SPECIALIST-ASSESSMENTS AND QUALIFICATION (ELECTRICAL PROGRAMS)
Overall Purpose of the Job


Reporting to the Manager-Assessments and Qualifications (Sciences, Engineering, and Trade Test programs), the Jobholder monitors and facilitates the conduct and Qualifications in order to effectively measure training standards.


1.2 Duties and Responsibilities
These include
1.2.1 Facilitating the conduct of examinations
1.2.2 Arranging setting, moderation and marking
1.2.3 Analysis of examination results and program reports.
1.2.4 Arranging workshops for assessors/examiners to equip them with quality skills and knowledge of setting, moderation, and marking of examinations.
1.2.5 Producing general and specific examinations guidelines for examiners, examination centers and Students in liaison with examination boards
1.2.6 Performing any other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Job Requirements
Minimum Knowledge


The TEVET System and relevant legislation
Accountability and security of sensitive data and assessment
Modern developments, trends, principles, practices, and theories in education and educational assessment, accountability, or evaluation of specialty areas.
Standard measures statistical in educational assessment, accountability or evaluation of specialty areas.


A University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
A teaching qualification.
Accreditation as an Examiner.


Minimum Relevant Experience
Two years experience in setting, moderation, and marking of examinations
