THE ORGANISATION

The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) is a statutory body established under the Act of Parliament No. 15 of 1998. NIPA now seeks the services of highly motivated individuals to join its team of skilled professionals.

Applications are now invited for the following full-time academic and non-academic positions:

NATIONAL SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT

HEAD OF LEGAL STUDIES (1)

Job Purpose:

To provide leadership and direction in planning, designing and coordinating training, research, and consultancy in law in order to achieve NIPA’s Mission.

Reports to: Director, National School Of Government

Knowledge and Skills requirements:

  • 5 ‘O’ Levels or higher acceptable at a University awarding a BA/BSc Degree qualification or equivalent
  • LLB Degree with Merit preferred and Masters Degree in Law
  • Membership relevant professional body
  • A minimum of ten (10) years post graduate relevant experience at supervisory level is required for the task
  • Evidence of publications in area of specialization
  • Ability to network with research based organizations
  • Oral communication skills

  • Analytical skills
  • Numerical/Computation skills
  • Problem-solving skills
