The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) is a statutory body established under the Act of Parliament No. 15 of 1998. NIPA now seeks the services of highly motivated individuals to join its team of skilled professionals.

Horticultural Officer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring Institute academic pressures and functions meet external and internal regulatory requirements established by relevant authorities in order to ensure that the Institute maintains the status of a reputable provider of training, research and consultancy services.

Reports to: Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs

Knowledge and Skills requirements:

• Grade 12 University entrant.
• Bachelor Degree in Horticulture, botany, agriculture, soil or earth sciences or relevant field.
• Minimum five (5) years relevant post qualifying experience in a reputable organisation.
• Membership of a relevant professional body.
• Knowledge of local flore and fauna.
• Planning ability.
• Team working.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
