Human Resource Officer Job Vacancy: Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS)
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
ZABS is a statutory body operating under the Standards Act No. 4 of 2017. The Bureau previously operated under the Standards Act CAP. 416 of 1994 which came to an end on 31 December 2017. ZABS exists to support the industry in the production of goods and services of acceptable quality through the provision of Standards development, Training, and Conformity Assessment semices. It is the custodian of national standards and acts as a link between the local industry and regional and international standardization and quality assurance (SQA) organizations.
The Bureau wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following vacant position;
HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (01)
JOB PURPOSE
Coordinate recruitment of staff according to laid down procedures and provide guidance and interpretation of conditions of acrylic in order to maintain a good industrial relations climate.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Full Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Computer literate in Excel, word processing, PowerPoint
- Proficiency in HR software such as Dove System (Human Resource Information System)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Must be of a sober character and capable of handling confidential matters.
- Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management
