Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, professional, competent, and visionary HR Manager.

JOB BRIEF:

To oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

KEY RESULT AREAS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and disciplinary issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, of human capital
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits and compensation programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management
  • Payroll management
  • Contracts management
  • Prepare monthly NAPSA returns and remit

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or another HR role
  • 4 and above years of experience as HR practitioner / Manager
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Demonstrable experience with managing a department in previous role(s)
  • Excellent active listening, and negotiation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management
