The Operations Manager will oversee a cluster of schools and is responsible for the day-to-day functioning including: financial reporting, enrollment, building maintenance, technical support, and managing inventory.

Responsibilities and Expectations include

  • Visit all schools on a weekly basis, deliver supplies and attend all training sessions
  • Oversee any maintenance works at schools
  • Communicate all staffing, infrastructure and administrative issues to the management team
  • Handle all accounting and bookkeeping for the schools in assigned cluster
  • Manage school supply inventory and prepare timely supply requests
  • Conduct weekly management meetings
  • Collect and send weekly reports from the schools
  • Update weekly, monthly and termly tracking sheets
  • Ensure teacher supervisors are on task and submitting reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure all teachers are using e-Learning technology properly and provide support where needed
  • Build relationships with PTA members and community members in district. Ensure the PTA meets monthly and minutes are forwarded
  • Additional tasks based on organization needs

Requirements

  • Candidates should have a relevant college degree or minimum of grade 12 education in conjunction with 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Experience in bookkeeping and management
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Speak and write fluently in English and in local language
  • Tech skills: Typing, E-mail, Word, Excel, smartphone usage, scanning
  • Integrity, punctuality, reliability and attention to detail
  • Exceptionally organized with strong time management skills and the capability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to troubleshoot and provide reasonable solutions as problems arise
  • Willing to reside near the Impact Network site office and travel by motorbike
  • Willing to work weekends
  • Experience facilitating or teaching a plus
  • Experience managing staff across several sites a plus
  • Experience working in rural settings with minimal resources a plus

  • K 1,600 per month
