The Information and Communications University (ICU) is a private international University registered with the Higher Education Authority (HEA), under the Ministry of Higher Education to offer distance (e-Learning), and full-time education in Zambia. ICU is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

CHIEF DATA ANALYST (1 POSITION)

Reports to the Programs Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Co-ordinates research work
  • Spearheads the review and improvement of research activities
  • Brings innovation, creativity in research, data analysis
  • Gives guidance to students undertaking research projects.
  • Helps sourcing funds for students who are doing innovative research projects that would help in solving the economic problems.
  • Guides the HoDs and lecturers in developing research materials and other research aids that will ensure that research is integrated into learning.
  • Conduct lectures on full time and distance classes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters (MSc or MA) in social science related field from any recognised university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the related position and industrial experience in Research Methods will be an added advantage.
  • Has a good knowledge of research tools such as STATA, SPSS, online data collection tools such Google forms, Rhema forms, Contemporary issues in Economics/Business.

 

•        Excellent data analysis skills, regression, cross-section analysis etc.
