Finance and Administration Intern

Faith Arise Community  Centre is hiring the services of Finance and Administration Intern for an initial period of 5 months, with the possibility of a 2 years contract, depending on the performance of the incumbent. The Finance and Administration Intern will report to the Director of Programs and Finance.

Duties  

  • Record monthly financial transactions in the ledger system and submit to Finance Manager
  • Follow up on office-related receipts and payments
  • Reconcile bank balances, mobile money balances and manage liquidity levels of the office
  • Archiving of all relevant documents
  • Timely payment to suppliers and monitoring of the delivery
  • Making and reconciling petty cash payments
  • Manage liquidity levels of the Portfolio and submit Funds depletion report.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders
  • Manage social media presence and ensure partners are updated on organizational strides
  • Manage and maintain communications with key stakeholders and partners
  • Establish new linkages with new partners
  • Work with Operations and Media Department
  • The office procurement as per provisions set out in the procurement policy
  • Make travel arrangements for staff members, attend to visitors, manage the office fleet, and provide basic ICT support.
  • Ensure delivery of mails to key stakeholders and partners.
  • Secretary during Staff meetings.
  • Manage the Office Assets and update the Asset Register

Qualifications

Not less than Diploma level education with Business/Finance/Social Sciences/Office management.
