Legal Aid Board (LAB) is a statutory body, which was established under the Legal Aid Act. The Board is mandated to provide legal aid services in both criminal and civil matters to persons with inadequate means so that they are able to access justice and legal representation.
In its continued efforts to fulfill its statutory mandate, the Board now seeks to appoint a dynamic and pro-active person to be based at Head Office-Lusaka as:
Internal Auditor
Job purpose
To carry out internal audits in the Board and to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of internal control systems to enhance financial management.
Responsibilities
- To carry out effective audit operations in accordance with approved work plans and programmes in order to achieve audit objectives
- To gather information promptly on audit operations in order to prepare audits reports
Qualifications
- Grade Twelve full certificate
- A Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Full ACCA/CIMA/ZICA
- At least five years’ experience in the Audit field
- Must be at least 30 years old
- Member of ZICA
