Investrust Bank Plc, a growing indigenous commercial bank listed on the Lusaka Stock Exchange, is looking for qualified, self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic individuals to fill the following positions that have fallen vacant.

Job Title: Relationship Officer Public Sector and Non-Profit Institutions (PS/NPI)

Location: Choma, Ndola

Reporting to: Head PS/NPI

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Head PS/NPI, the successful candidates will be accountable for the management of an assigned portfolio of clients over which you will be responsible for client retention and growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To acquire new customers and work to deepen existing relationships with a view to growing own portfolio.
  2. Responsible for all GRZ and Quasi Government business in the assigned area,
  3. Responsible for all business with NGO’s, Donors and other cooperating partners with Government of the Day in the assigned area,
  4. Ensuring that policies and procedures are administered consistently and in accordance with department business plans,
  5. Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction across own portfolio’s Client base and devise appropriate Client feedback mechanisms.
  6. Responsible for liabilities annual budget and medium to long term strategies for the unit under command.
  7. Responsible for intra-departmental synergies to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
  8. Act as a link between the Bank and its Customers (existing and potential) under own portfolio, coordinate various relationship issues between the bank and its customers regarding service delivery, identifying gaps and cross-selling the bank’s products and services, acquiring new business through aggressive marketing and enhancing customer loyalty.
  9. Identifying and understanding customer needs and continuously ensuring the bank’s delivery process is consistent with the needs so identified.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all existing and new customers in the portfolio

Qualifications and Experience

  1. University Degree in Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or equivalent.
  2. Relevant industry-related courses/ programs.
  3. Minimum 3 years post qualification experience, literate in word, excel and familiar with spreadsheets and financial statements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
  2. Understanding of key drivers of the industry.
  3. Proven ability to network & interact with clients at all levels.
  4. Strong personality and eloquent speaker
  5. Must have a clean driving certification
