Invitation for prequalification of Providers for Supplies, Services, and Works.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is an International Non-Governmental Organization operating in forty three (43) countries around the world. In Zambia, AHF has been working to contribute to the control of the AIDS epidemic since 2007. AHF currently operates in selected health facilities in Southern, Lusaka, Central, Copperbelt, North Western and Luapula provinces. AHF Zambia supports Ministry of Health through provision of high quality HIV/AIDS related services free of charge to the end user. Services offered include: Anti-retroviral treatment, prevention and care for vulnerable groups in society.

AHF Zambia wishes to update its list of vendors. AHF Zambia now invites sealed bids from all eligible firms/companies for pre-qualification of service providers for works, services and supplies.

1. SUPPLIES

  • Antiretroviral (ARV) drugs
  • Medicines for treating opportunistic infections
  • Medical sundries and supplies
  • Laboratory supplies including but not limited to HIV test kits, reagents for hematology, clinical chemistry and parasitology and CD4 reagents
  • Stationery – all types
  • Toner and cartridge (for photocopiers, printers, etc.)
  • Computers, computer consumables, and accessories, IT equipment and other office equipment (photocopier, telephone, etc.)
  • Furniture and fittings for office, clinic and outreach activities.
  • Petroleum Products and Lubricants
  • Motor vehicles, Motorcycles, Tyres, Tubes, Batteries, and spare parts.
  • Uniforms, Corporate ware, protective gear, Curtains, window blinds, and carpets.
  • Supply of fire equipment.
  • Supply of mechanical materials (welding, burglar proofing, metallic & wooden shelves etc)
  • Air conditioners and accessories
  • Supply of ID cards and accessories
  • Supply of Security equipment and gadgets
  • Supply of Generators and solar equipment
  • Building materials
  • Cleaning equipments and cleaning materials

2. SERVICES

  • Repair and servicing of generators,
  • Repair and servicing of air conditioners (AC).
  • Repair, servicing and maintenance of clinical laboratory equipment and instruments;
  • Repair and Maintenance of ICT equipments, computer and software maintenance (IT services)
  • Maintenance and Repair of assorted electrical equipments,
  • Maintenance and Repair of furniture and fittings.
  • Servicing of motor vehicles and motor cycles.
  • Service and maintenance of fire equipment, including fire safety trainings.
  • Maintenance and Repairs of Motor vehicles and motor cycles.
  • Courier services and freight clearing and forwarding services
  • Air Ticketing, Tours and Travel
  • Internet Service Providers (ISP)
  • Taxi/motor vehicle hire/rental services
  • Designing, printing and branding of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials and other promotional items
  • Photocopying, printing, binding, and secretarial services
  • Catering services and canteen services
  • Billboard advertisements, and other radio, television, electronic and print media services
  • Engineering Services, Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical & Quantity Surveying
  • Land Surveying
  • Photography and Video Coverage
  • Public Address Services
  • Events management and Public relations (decorations, tents, chairs, etc.)
  • Cleaning of office, carpets, windows, chairs and terrazo.
  • Security services
  • Insurance Services

  • Engraving & embroidery Services

  • Design of various softwares (supply chain & inventory management software, Monitoring and Evaluation software, etc)
  • Medical waste management, garbage collection and disposal (sanitary services)
  • Hotel, Accommodation & conference facilities in areas of operation (Lusaka, Central, Copperbelt and Southern Provinces)
  • Motor Vehicle and Motor cycle Tracking system.
  • Consultancy Services – financial management, procurement, risk and auditing
  • Property Management Services

3. WORKS

  1. Minor building renovations and civil works including carpentry, plumbing, painting, glass and welding.
  2. Major works including construction.
  3. Renovation and refurbishment of building
  4. Minor routine maintenance of compounds and parking areas

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BIDDERS

Application letter, clearly specifying the two categories applied for, should include description of company, geographic reach, type of goods/services offered,   and should be accompanied by the following:

  1. Certificate of incorporation or registration
  2. Certificate from National Regulatory Bodies
  3. Valid Trading License
  4. VAT Registration where applicable
  5. Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  6. Valid and current income tax clearance
  7. References or contact of references from three reputable organizations/companies, with a profile similar to AHF-Zambia.
  8. Profile and CVs for  service providers
  9. Evidence of completion of businesses related to the tender (copies of completion certificates, LPOs’ , contracts)

All current suppliers are advised to re-apply.

Suppliers are advised to bid in no more than two categories.

AHF-Zambia wishes to advise bidders that submission of an application shall not lead to automatic selection but the applications shall undergo evaluation.
