IT Application and Support Officer

Objectives

  • To provide IT support to staff, deploy and manage all banking applications, resolve all assigned issues

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned users in the use of computer software, including standard office software, network and systems client software, and specialized software used by the bank (e.g.: Finacle, CTS, RTGS/ CSD, Reuters)
  • Provides on-site maintenance and trouble-shooting for personal computer hardware and peripherals, software (as above) and network connections and other equipment
  • Perform software installation and setup procedures
  • Instruct users in appropriate techniques to enhance productive use of personal computer hardware and software

Requirements

  • Sc /B.Eng in Business Information Systems or Computer Sciences
  • Full G12 with 5 credits or better including Maths and English
  • 1 – 2 years hands on experience on specialized banking applications eg Finacle, RTGS/ CSD, Reuters
