Itezhi Tezhi Power Corporation Ltd (ITPC) is a Joint Venture Company owned by ZESCO Ltd and The TATA Power Co. Ltd to build and operate the 120 MW Hydro Power Station on the Itezhi Tezhi Dam of the Kafue River in Itezhi Tezhi District.

The company seeks to recruit suitably qualified personnel to fill up the following positions:

Electrical Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% availability of the main plant and auxiliary electrical equipment
• Carry out maintenance of plant electrical equipment as per preventive maintenance schedule according to procedures and as per safety standards
• Attending to plant electrical equipment breakdowns and defects as and when they arise
• Assist Electrical Engineer/Planning Engineer for preparation of maintenance plans and maintenance budgets
• Participate in periodic tests on electrical equipment, prepare test reports and implement actions if any
• Preparation of maintenance reports and updating equipment history cards

Reports to: Electrical Engineer

Knowledge and Skills

• Full Grade 12 Certificate and Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of post-qualifying experience in electrical engineering

NOTE:

• Post qualifying experience in Operations and Maintenance of Hydroelectric power Generation Plants will be an added advantage
