Summary:

USAID has entered into a Cooperative Agreement with Counterpart International for a project titled Fostering Accountability and Transparency in Zambia (FACT Zambia). The program is improving the ability of Zambian civil society organizations (CSOs) and citizens to collaborate with selected government entities to enhance and promote transparency and accountability in the delivery of targeted public services.

Counterpart Zambia has a vacancy for the position of M&E Manager

Candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements for this position:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, demographics, public policy, international development economics or related field.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in a M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities for governance, social accountability and/or advocacy project.
  • Proven success in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems
  • Experience in performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, and developing M&E and/or performance monitoring plans.
  • Experience and ability in managing and providing oversight of complex project assessments
  • Experience in designing and facilitating M&E trainings
  • Experience in the use information technology for collecting and sharing M&E data and information and in the use software for mapping project activities
  • Proven record of documenting, disseminating and applying project learnings
  • A collaborator and team player with a purposeful mind-set to produce results
  • Provides accurate, detailed and consistent information for others to act upon
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to organize and expresses ideas clearly and concisely
