AB Bank Zambia it’s looking for an HR Manager or alternatively an experienced Senior HR Officer who is able and willed to develop to an HR Manager within our bank. If you are interested in one of the positions, we are looking forward to your application.
Main Responsibilities
Among other duties, the Senior HR Officer/ HR Manager will be responsible for:
• Coordination of the recruitment process
• Coordination and guidance during the performance appraisal process, as well as analysis of results
• Organization and implementation of staff training and evaluation programs
• Organization and supervision of career planning programs
• Set-up and implementation of a succession plan
• Set-up and implementation of a bank-wide salary grade framework
• Design and implementation of concepts for a sustainable staff retention strategy
• Provision of advice and guidance to all team leader and managers regarding HR questions
Please note: for the HR Manager position, tasks such as annual planning, further development of HR procedures,
supervision of payroll and employee services would belong to the responsibilities as well.
Competencies and Experiences
• Degree in Business Administration, HR Management or other related field
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR position with own team leader responsibility
• Broad knowledge of Zambian Labour Laws
• Knowledge of Microsoft package, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and HR software
• Sound strategic and creative thinking as well as analytical skills
• Knowledge of global best HR practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent team spirit
• First experiences in project management
• Problem-solving attitude and skills
