Working in Zambia since 1996, Plan International Zambia’s development and capacity building programmes focus primarily on education, health and sanitation, economic empowerment, and child protection and participation. Plan’s work is guided by our Child-Centered Community Development (CCCD) approach. Plan International Zambia has programme units in: Central, Luapula, Eastern, province and in Lusaka, where the Country Office (CO) is located.
Plan’s is looking for innovative, motivated self starter individuals to fill the following vacancies:
Accounts Assistant – Natural Light Project x 1 (6) months)
The Accounts Assistant’s main role is to perform various accounting responsibilities as delegated by the Grants Accountant in order to provide all necessary financial information for the Natural Light Project. He/she ensures works within set framework and is a support position that enables the Programs to achieve their results through the provision of necessary finance support. The incumbent will be reporting to the Grant Accountant
Community Development Facilitators – Community Based Micro Finance x 1 (8) months)
The position of CDF- Microfinance is the link between Plan and the Own Savings for Asset and Wealth Creation (OSAWE) groups in the communities where Plan International Zambia implements Micro Finance activities. He/she ensures facilitation of all the development activities done within the community and helping to improving the economic status of individual families and communities to better support children. The incumbent will be reporting to the Micro Finance Project Coordinator
Programme Manager – Economic Empowerment (Lusaka)
Job Purpose: The economic Empowerment Programme consists of three sections namely micro-finance, youth empowerment, and food security. The Programme Manager is responsible for overall design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of economic empowerment programme projects while working with Plan partners and communities. The Economic Empowerment Manager (EEM) reports to the Programme and Strategy Manager.
