The Ministry of Health (MOH) through its National Malaria Control Centre in collaboration with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is conducting a project to assess practical application of a Diseases Data Management System (DDMS) tool designed to meet the data management and decision support needs of the vector-borne disease control programs as they transition through control to elimination.

Responsibilities

  • Collate data from the filed for data entry
  • Enter data from open source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
  • Transcribe information into required electronic format
  • Conduct preliminary quality control on data entered in the system
  • Store completed documents in designated locations
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Any other duties as assigned by their supervisor

Qualifications

  • Full School certificate with five O level credits including English and Mathematics
  • Certificate in Computer Science with two (2) years’ experience in server and data management
  • Two years relevant experience in purchasing and supplies management
