Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia is located in Kafue 50km south of Lusaka and is wholly owned by the government of the Republic of Zambia.It is the only national fertilizer factory for national fertilizer demand.

Job Title: Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conducting feasibility studies for plant performance improvements
• Implementing long and short term capital plant projects for improving production processes
• Ensuring development plant improvements are economical to operate and maintain
• Ensuring safty of the environment, manpower and equipment at all times

Qualifications

• Grade 12 school certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• Post Graduate Qualification in Plant operations and projects will be an added advantage
• Member of EIZ
• Exellent computer skills
• Five years experience at similar position
• Not less than 25 years old
