The Assistant Programme Coordinator will be based at the Office in Kabwe and be responsible for implementing of The Assistant Programme Coordinator will be responsible for implementing of all key activities in conjunction with the Programme Quality unit. In addition, the Assistant Programme Coordinator will have key responsibilities in line managing and supporting the Schools and volunteers where Restless Development has a presence. They will also be the face of Restless Development in the target communities, building relationships with key stakeholders (including schools, clinics, community groups, traditional leaders and decision-makers) and local partners. Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of College programmes and budgeted activities
  • Support in the creation of annual operational plans Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the programmes
  • Monitor programme implementation as against set targets and timeframes
    Supports the reporting system by ensuring timely, accurate and consistent reports are submitted by self, volunteers
  • Implement the capacity building programmes with partner organisations Input in the quarterly programme reviews to ensure that there is constant learning and that key changes are not left until the annual review
  • Take part in the training of volunteers across the organisation Leading and supporting the development of programme manuals
  • Set targets with the Interns and College volunteers
  • Develop career development plan for the college volunteers
  • Conduct regular line management meetings with Interns to track progress
  • Lead recruitment, selection and training volunteers
  • Provide welfare and programme support to the volunteers for them to deliver
    high quality project activities
  • Implement the health and safety guidelines within the role and ensure that
    volunteers understand and are adhering to the guidelines
  • Ensure that college volunteers are adhering to organisation policies and code
    of conduct
