In line with our corporate priorities aimed at ensuring optimisation of revenue collection and increased tax compliance on the one hand and the need to effectively manage the numerous challenges and opportunities in the fast changing business environment on the other, we are seeking highly motivated, result-oriented and well-qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacancy in the Human Resource Department.

Job Title: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER – RESOURCING – ZRA04 (1)

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director – Resourcing and Development, the Job holder will be
responsible for providing cost effective and efficient services through manpower planning and
implementation of resourcing plans and policy; management of recruitment and selection process;
Management of staff retention and staff resignations; Management of staff transfers and assessing
manpower requirements for all Divisions/Departments as well as generating and moderating role profiles to enable ZRAachieve its objectives.

Main duties/accountabilities
  •  Forecast and plan for manpower requirements for all Divisions & Departments to ensure that
  • recruitments are within the approved establishment;
  •  Co-ordinate, monitor and review staff recruitment and selection procedures in line with the Resourcing Policy;
  •  Advise Line Managers and other members of staff on recruitment and selection activities;
  •  Generate, moderate and maintain role profiles for all positions in the Authority;
  •  Assess and plan for the demand and supply of manpower in the Authority by carrying out monthly staff reconciliations;
  •  Contribute to the preparation of HR budget plans and revision of staff manuals; and
  •  Prepare Human Resource statistics monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Requirements 
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration or Business
  • Administration or any relevant qualification
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience
  • Psychometric Testing and Job evaluation training will be added advantage
  • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
