We are inviting applications to fill a Computer Technician vacancy.

We are a Sage channel Partner based in Lusaka specializing in Sage Evolution, Sage 300, SageX3, VIP Payroll & HR and Pastel Products.

This position would suit a candidate with an inclination to provide technical services and related solutions.

The main responsibilities will be the following:

• Technical sales and Portfolio maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Knowledgeable of CCTV and access control facilities
• Knowledgeable of POS machines and troubleshooting.
• Knowledgeable of ERP installation processes and procedures
• Technical advisory services
• After sales follow-up
• Key account manager on technical matters
• Adaptable personality easily to engage with new and existing clients
• To engage in new technical needs
• To report to the Services Manager on a daily basis on new technical sales.
• Must be a great fantasizing computer wizard who loves to explore.

The following competencies are required

• Strong Technical Background
• In-depth knowledge of software installation procedures
• Well-spoken with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passionate and strong sense of urgency on technical matters
• Friendly, warm, approachable, team player, sense of humor and empathy
• Bias with latest technological development, seasoned with changing trends in IT sector /Industry

Ideally, the best candidate must have a minimum of:

• Advanced Diploma in Computer Sciences or better / or equivalent
• At least 3 years or more working experience.
• Member of Computer Society of Zambia
